This is a nice old original unused pre-1940 Winchester Saddle Ring & Stud. It is in excellent unused condition with remnants of the original storage grease still on ring. Original finish is virtually all there, slightly thinning with age. I ll call it aged blue . These old original Winchester Saddle Ring & Stud sets are getting very hard to find. A lot of not correct reproductions in today s market. This saddle ring & stud set was part of the leftover inventory of a guy who sold original Winchester parts. These rings and studs were made by Winchester, until they were discontinued around 1940. The surplus left over after discontinuation, is pretty much gone. If you want an original, now would be a good time to make the purchase. They sure are nice to have when you need one. Inside ring diameter is approx. .715. Outside diameter is approx. 1.05. Metal ring diameter is approx. .17. Stud diameter is approx. .24. Stud length is approx. .185. All measurements are approximate. Please see photos for best description.
